Who We Are

Mike’s journey in the construction industry began at a young age. His love for woodworking started when he was just 10 years old through 4-H. By the time he turned 12, he had already built his own workshop in his mother’s garage, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion.

In 1978, Mike moved to Napa Valley, where he began working construction for well-known vineyards such as Steltzner and Newton Vineyards. Through this hands-on experience, he discovered how much he enjoyed the craft and realized he wanted to pursue construction as a career. In 1982, he took the next step by earning his contractor’s license.

Mike’s first project as a licensed contractor was the restaurant Tra Vigne in St. Helena, a space that is known today as The Charter Oak.

Over the years, Mike has had the privilege of working with an exceptional group of clients and contributing to a wide range of distinguished projects. His portfolio includes beautifully crafted custom homes as well as work on some of the most renowned wineries in Napa Valley. Through his dedication to quality craftsmanship and professionalism, Mike has built a strong reputation and fostered lasting relationships throughout the Napa Valley community.
